Welcome back GOYANs to another year filled with manyevents, tournaments, fundraisers, and volunteer work ahead of us! We have somenew changes this year, with Joana Tsinonis being the new girls' basketballcoach and Dennis Jiffas being the new boys' basketball coach for the 2009-2010season. We may have assistant coaches as well and we welcome their support andenthusiasm too! As you all know, we have already sworn in our new officers,Aleko Chahalis as president, Theoni Kontos as vice president, Elaina Furr asTreasurer, and Thespina Skenderis as secretary. We pray for their success!Also, remember that it takes not only the officers, but ALL the GOYANs to helpand support this organization to make it successful and fun! Congratulations,again, to all the new officers, the new parent volunteers, coordinators andeveryone who does behind the scene work that goes too often unrecognized.

 Saturday, September 26th:  Sts. Constantine and Helen of Washington, D.C.                                                                     BasketballTournament held at Georgetown Prep                                                                   School.

 Sunday, September 27th:  First GOYA Meeting/Orthodox Life following Liturgy.                                                           Please meetin the hall downstairs.

Saturday, October 3rd:  Boys and Girls GOYA Basketball Practice at Oakdale from                                           7:00 until 8:30 PM

Saturday, October 10th:  Boys and Girls GOYA Basketball Practice at Oakdale                                                         from 7:00 until 8:30 PM

Saturday and Sunday, October 17th and 18th:  St. George's Basketball Tournament
