Hi GOYA Parents! The GOYA Kickoff Event is only a week away! Mark your calendar for next Friday, August 19th at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall!!
This will be a great time for your Goyan to meet Father George, have some food, plan some activities for the forthcoming year, and socialize with new and old friends. We will also be holding Elections for GOYA Officers for next year (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary). Talk to your Goyan and see if this will be a good fit for her or him.
There will be signups for a GOYA sweatshirt as well as basketball jerseys if your Goyan doesn't have one as well as signups for Girls and Boys Basketball.
Let's get ready for a great year! We are gearing up for an exciting year of GOYA activities: Sports, Retreats, Movie Nights, Laser Tag, Ski Trip, Bowling, Christmas Caroling, Outreach, Trip to HC/HC, and many, many more!!
GOYA meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Friday of the month: (Tentative Schedule)
September 9 , October 14, November 11, December 9, January 13 , February 10, March 9, April 20 (with JOY)May 11, June 8 TEEN RAP (social issues discussion) with Fr. George will be scheduled on Saturdays at 5:00pm at the Church throughout the year, preceding the basketball practices. (Dates to be announced)
