Christ is Risen!
Welcome to the new online format of The Greeting. In an attempt to parallel our other communication efforts and to meet the growing demand of web based publications, we have decided to publish The Greeting in a digital format that can be easily viewed on a computer, tablet, cell phone and other hand-held devices. We hope you continue to enjoy and explore our parish newsletter.
Summer has quickly come upon us, and undoubtedly most are very excited to begin life post covid-19. We all patiently endured the restrictions of lockdowns, quarantines and other measures put in place during the pandemic, and now look forward to life as it was before the pandemic.
Sts. Peter and Paul GOC has now lifted all pandemic protective measures (masks, registration for services, social distancing) and our liturgical life once again resembles what it used to be, minus one detail...the number of faithful in the pews. It is my fervent prayer that we see our attendance levels match and hopefully exceed the pre-pandemic levels. We have much to be thankful for, and gathering in prayer in Christ is the ultimate expression of gratitude!
I look forward to seeing more of you who have not been able to attend services during the pandemic. May our Lord continue to bless and protect you.
With love in our Risen Lord,
Fr. George

Why Don’t the Orthodox Feel Guilt?
